The breed was built in Germany to go down a badger hole alone, and nobody told him he retired. On a normal night he announces the delivery driver like it is a national emergency. On Halloween, with strangers in masks walking up your path every four minutes, he is working the busiest shift of his career.

How you make it yours

Choose the coat colour that matches your dog from 15 real dachshund colours — Black & Tan, Chocolate & Cream, Silver Dapple, Chocolate Dapple, Piebald, Isabella, Wild Boar, Brindle and more. Choose his Halloween costume. Type his name, up to 12 characters. We email a proof within 24 hours and nothing prints until you approve it.

What you get

One 30 x 18 inch doormat, finished size approximately 29.5 x 17.5 inches, printed edge to edge

Felt-like polyester top with a non-slip black rubber backing

Printed in the USA by dye sublimation, so the colour sits in the fibres instead of on top of them and will not peel or crack

Weighs approximately 2 lb

Please read before you buy

This is a felt-topped mat, not a coir brush mat. It is made for light-duty use — a covered porch, a back door, an entryway, a sunroom. It is not built for an uncovered step that takes rain and full sun all season. If that is your doorway, this is not your mat and we would rather say so now.

Why people buy this one

Because their dog is a chocolate dapple and nobody sells a chocolate dapple. Because the mat says his name, not a generic breed silhouette. Because there is no year printed on it, so it comes back out every October instead of living in a box after one season.

Order by October 18

Made to order. Printing starts once you approve your proof and takes 1 to 3 business days, then US delivery usually runs about 6 days. Order by October 18 to have it down before Halloween. After that date we cannot promise it arrives in time, and we would rather be honest than take the order.

Care

Shake it out or rinse with cold water and air dry. No machine washing, no bleach.

Shipping

We ship within the United States. Message us before ordering for anywhere else and we will quote it.

If something is wrong

Damaged, misprinted, or a name spelled differently from the proof you approved — send a photo and we remake it at no cost. Because each mat is made for one dog, we cannot take returns for a change of mind or for a name you approved and later wanted different.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1033/9513/1686/files/sipengrave-custom-dog-name-dachshund-doormat-halloween-real-dachshund-doorway.png?v=1791173707
